The Health and wellbeing team provide Epilepsy expertise, co-ordination of regular on site GP clinics, and support with the dissemination of medical information and updates to the wider staff team.
Our dedicated Life Skills leader supports residents/Supported Living clients to engage in meaningful group activities which champion the application of skills developed at our on site Skills Centre.
Group sessions aim to promote social inclusion, self advocacy, team work, problem solving, literacy and oracy. Many of the people we support are proud to have achieved qualifications in ASDAN accredited Life Skills short courses in a variety of topics.
Sensory sessions offer a calming yet exploratory space for the people we support who have higher needs. Sessions enable participants to enhance focus yet reduce stress in a safe, controlled and sensory-rich environment.

Our immersive, relaxing dedicated sensory room is a wonderful resource for the people we support. The beautifully kitted out room is complete with starlit ceiling, changeable LED lighting, specialist therapy chair, hoist, sofa, projection, and sound system.
Sessions with the Sensory Therapist include head massage, hand and foot massage and Reiki.
“As well as seizures, Tim has multiple physical & mental disabilities. The Meath’s wide-ranging services has had a life-enhancing impact on his wellbeing & happiness.”
