Bradley, Service Manager

“I wanted a career where I could progress but learn on the job, I have really enjoyed the Apprenticeship Scheme we have at The Meath and am working towards my Level 5 QCF in Health and Social Care.”

The Meath team and apprenticeship staff are really supportive, and I was able to tailor my learning to elements of specific interest and to suit my learning style.

As I have progressed in my own career, I can see how our Apprenticeship Scheme is of real benefit to staff and the people we support. It’s great to have a job where you can upskill, learn and feel valued.”

Jordan, Dual Service Manager

“The Meath is a great place for career progression if you’re willing to put in the work. I was really pleased to have the opportunity to progress my career with on the job learning as part of the Apprenticeship Scheme we have at The Meath. I completed my Level 3 and having had a positive experience, I later progressed with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Social Care.

I have found that the Apprenticeship Scheme has enabled me to understand more about the adult social services sector as a whole.”
