Its mission is to alleviate suffering, assist those in need, foster community cohesion, support humanitarian initiatives, bring people together, enhance understanding, and promote peace among people from all walks of life.
Since its inception in 1985, the charity walk has been held at various venues across the UK, attracting thousands of participants annually. Millions of pounds have been raised and distributed to over 600 UK registered charities and used to support humanitarian projects. Numerous regional charity receptions, walks, and events are organised throughout the UK, culminating in an annual event designed to benefit various charities that provide practical help and support to vulnerable people.
